How can I get the Schengen Area Visa?
All non-EU citizens who stay in Italy or in the Schengen area for a short period, i.e. no more than 90 days in the semester, must demonstrate that they have adequate and valid health coverage, for the period of stay, with a minimum coverage of €30,000 for short-term visa, in accordance with article 15 of European Regulation no. . 810/2009 which establishes the "VISA CODE", up to €70,000 per long-term visa.
The Short-stay visa allows you to stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 days. With the Long-term visa it is possible to move freely in Italy or in the rest of Europe which is part of the Schengen Area for a period of between 3 and 12 months.
